We are very pleased to welcome you to the new SGA website.  After many meetings, designs, and reviews, we are glad to launch the next version of the site, with a greater focus on transparency.

With a new website brings many new ways for you to interact with the SGA:

Polls: The SGA wants to represent your voice on the Virginia Tech campus.  Many issues are brought to our attention that we want to get feedback on.  Each week we will post a new poll to see what the students feel about a certain topic.

Get Involved: There are many programs the the SGA runs for the students.  New ways to help out your campus come about everyday, be sure to check out this page periodically for updates!

About SGA: SGA is a large organization with many parts, learn how it all works together in this new section.

Blog: Learn about what people are doing in the SGA behind the scenes and some of the great stories that come out of it!

Issues: Virginia Tech is a huge campus and sometimes it is hard to get your voice heard among the crowd.  If you have an idea, improvement, or suggestion about how the SGA can improve your life as a Hokie, submit your thoughts here!  Issues get voted up and down by your fellow students to help find what matters most!

Media: SGA does a lot of events around campus and interacts with a lot of people.  For the ones that are not able to attend these events or are interested what goes on, check out our pictures and videos.  Also, we will be streaming Executive meetings live with the help of current web technologies!

A Greater Web Presence: Recent years have brought us many new technologies and ways to interact with one another.  We've created easier ways for you to interact with us on Twitter and facebook.  Be sure to check out updates on these pages for contests and surprise events!
