Freshmen Leadership Experience is a program that is run by Virginia Tech's Student Government Association (SGA). FLEX's goal is to integrate freshmen into leadership organizations around campus. The FLEX program offers positions and experiences dealing with technology, legislation, fundraising and community service. The program presents its members with a chance to get involved in the many programs Virginia Tech provides, especially those programs SGA sponsors. FLEX is growing every year and was voted the most innovative new leadership program in the ACC! FLEX opens the door to; ?? Participation in campus wide events.?? Opportunities to meet key administrators on Virginia Tech?s campus.?? Opportunities to develop personal leadership skills.? Work directly with top student leaders.? Get involved with leadership organizations on campus. Opportunity to go to regional, national and international conferences. A chance to make many new friends!

As the new directors of FLEX, we look forward to meeting our future FLEXers! Nearly every FLEXer past and present has gotten involved in a vast array of leadership organizations all over campus! If you are interested in getting involved with Student Government at Virginia Tech then apply to be a FLEXer for the 2008-2009 school year!
